The film ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’ saw the prolific actor in a light hearted vein, while ‘Khamoshi, the musical’ saw him give realistic touches to the role of a father who was both deaf and dumb. The actor became a part of the film’s lyrical exuberance.
In keeping with his forte he excelled in films such as ‘Ab Tak Chappan’ and ‘Prahaar’. While the former saw him in the role of a policeman geared to a serious objective, the latter found him in the role of an army man. The oncoming flick ‘Shagird’ will have the seasoned pro in the role of a cop. The film directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia hinges on the equation between power and corruption. The realistic flick with its dramatic content is likely to be released on the 13th of this month. According to Nana Patekar the realism in the script and that of his character portrayal attracted him to this given project.
