Ok so you’ve probably heard this a million times before, and will continue to hear it, until it probably happens so here’s to another rumor. A group of hackers claim to have found the “security hole” in the Xbox360 and have exploited it using their l33t sk1llz. The mod chip, called Devil 360 was to be launched on 06/06/06, but they unfortunately missed this mark as they were trying to:

Protect it from any type of update
Make it programmable via PC
Boot unsigned code
Allow to swap HD with larger drive with a special interface between the 360 and the HD (all types IDE/SATA).

This mod is available for pre-order, even though its makers have not tied up with any distributors, nor will they release it to the public unless it’s been tested by independent sites.
