Cellphones and computers are looking more alike every day. You can make VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) telephone calls using your computer.

And you can play games, handle your calendar and do various other computerlike things on your cellphone. In addition, the virus attacks too seem to be similar.

We've heard enough of systems getting infected with queer virus. Now, close on the heels are mobile phones, facing virus threat. Such virus often make one think that no technology is reliable and safe from their attacks.

After viruses, worms are now the latest threat to the mobile phone sets. Though the recently discovered worm does not appear to pose an immediate threat to cellphone users, it suggests that mobile phones are much more vulnerable to virus-writers and hackers than previously thought.

Well, It's time the service providers and users of mobile devices took some new measures in controlling the emerging mobile virus threat.
