Such discussions must not only be relevent to the age of the child but to emotional quotient, social quotient and many other factors as well. this integral condition is unique for each child and is known only to the parents. This condition gives to parents alone  the responsibility and right to teach their children not only the basics of sex but to explain to each child his/her unique human sexuality
