A new show tentatively named as Ranbir Aur Rano will air on Zee Next from 27 July. The daily show, being produced by Shreya Productions and directed by Chander Behl, is likely to air on prime time. The show boasts of an impressive star cast with proven performers like Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Kunickaa Lal, Sakshi Talwar and Rajendra Gupta


A source informs, “Sakshi Talwar (aka Suman of Ek Thi Rajkumari fame) and rookie actor Vinay Rohrra will be playing the lead roles of Rano and Ranbir respectively. Vinay has acted as a child artist both in films and TV. Prior to taking up this show, Vinay has featured in music videos and TV commercials. The cast of this serial also includes Pankaj Berry, Ajay Trehan, Aashish Duggal and Sanjay Swaraj. Rajendra Gupta is playing father to Sakshi while Kunickaa Lal will once again be seen in the role of a cunning step mother.
