iBall, the well known desktop peripherals manufacturer today launched the iBall Take Note, a digital notepad, in India. iBall Take Note's main advantage is that it uses your everday paper and a ball point pen to write. Under the paper it digitally records all the notes, ideas, drawings, and sketches in the pad's built-in 32 MB flash memory. Hence it can be termed as an offline device as you don't need to be connected to a PC to use the device.

The captured files can be downloaded onto a PC or a laptop using the supplied USB-2 Port. It can be saved both as a book file or an individual file. The built-in 32 MB Ram can store well over 150 pages. This package includes homegrown software with which users can easily edit and collate all their data. Bundled with it is MyScript software (a 30-day trial version), which can be bought at a nominal cost of Rs 2,400 after its trial period. iBall Take Note is available at an expected MRP of Rs 9,900 and comes with a one-year warranty.
