UTV Bhabhi is reportedly going off-air after running successfully (barring some hiccups) for six years. The show currently in its seventh year may soon shut down and Shobhana Desai Hamari Devrani will replace it. In an attempt to revamp its afternoon slot, Star Plus, reportedly, is axing Bhabhi from its afternoon band. It is the number two show across all the channels after Kumkum. According to the latest TRPs Bhabhi has garnered a TRP of 1.8 as compared to its competitor Rakhi on Zee, which has garnered a TRP of 1.2. As per the average of TRPs of last 10 weeks, Bhabhi is ahead of all the afternoon shows except for Kumkum. Surprisingly it still is the first show to get axed from the afternoon band of the channel.
