Guzaarish, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick with Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles got involved in some controversy or the other ever since its promos went on air and it was gearing up for a release.
There was a controversy regarding the puffing scene and some tussle had to be faced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali on other counts as well and now a fresh problem have come up.
Reports are that the Indian distributors are quite irked with their Pakistani counterparts. But what irked the Indian distributors? Well, reportedly they were not happy with the fact that the film was released two days earlier in Pakistan.
The film was originally touted to be released on the same day in India and Pakistan – on the 19th of November. But due to the Eid festivities in Pakistan it was released two days in advance which has miffed the Indian distributors. They are quite upset over the whole decision of an earlier release.
However, it is also being said that since the movie is doing quite well in Pakistan, the counterparts of the Indian distributors in Pakistan are just going to be warned on the issue.
Guzaarish is completely a imagination based film. It is subjective in every sense of the term. It has been depicted in a surreal world with the characters actually living their lives which somehow seem far fetched to the common man. But then director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is quite well known for his different take on the subject he chooses as the theme for his films. The movie has not generated much interest in India though.
