There are many actors and actresses in Bollywood, who normally do small roles and recognizing them with their names is not possible all the time. One such actor is Anubhav Anand. He is basically an Indian actor who has appeared in several Bollywood movies and television shows till date.
Anubhav Anand was born on the 9th of September, 1975 in the capital city of New Delhi, India. He completed his graduation and then joined Clemson University, South Carolina to pursue a master’s degree in Computer Science. Alongside proper education, Anubhav also joined the School of Performing Arts in order to study theater.
After finishing his education, Anubhav joined IBM to work. However, in spite of spending a hectic life at work, Anubhav did not forget about his love for acting. He took to acting lessons at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers Institute.
Anubhav Anand trained under Roshan Taneja in the city of Mumbai. He started his career in the movie Kabhi Kahin which was directed by Amol Shetge.The story revolves around two friends who are on a bike trip. They encounter various incidents and get into circumstances that tests their friendship. Perfect Mismatch is Anand’s second movie that was directed by Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad. The story is about a Punjabi family living in United States. The head of the family is Mr. Bhalla (Anupam Kher) who is staying in United States with his wife, daughter, and nephew Aman (Anubhav Anand). Aman loves Neha, daughter of Mr. Patel (Boman Irani). Due to the difference in the lifestyle of the two families, they have a lot of differences. In the end of the story Aman and Neha help get their families together and live up to the expectation of their families. The cinematography was done by Robert Mehnert. This movie was released on 24th July, 2009. It was an official selection at Cinequest Film Festival. The Montreal based music group –Josh had composed the original soundtrack.
In 2009, Anand’s 3rd venture in movies was Aseema. However he chose to become a producer. This movie is based on the Oriya novel by the same name, which was written by the novelist Sailaja Kumari Aparajita Mohanty. The lead character is played by Gracy Singh. A lecturer in Anandpur, Orrisa – Aseema Patnayak (Gracy Singh) is forced to leave her hometown and live in Cuttack as she is stalked by a man. She encounters an accident and is taken to a hospital where she is treated for a fracture. The doctors treating her are a brother & sister duo who go by the names Manjula and Ishwar Rai. Ishwar proposes marriage to Aseema but gets rejected as she is a divorcee and has a daughter. However, he re-enters Assema’s life after ten years when her daughter moves to Mumbai to obtain a master’s degree. Her daughter, however, is least interested in studies and goes around wasting her time at malls with a guy named Vikram. Ishwar stops them and ask them to postpone their plans until they complete the studies. Vikram introduces Aseema’s daughter to his uncle and aunt and this meeting changes every one’s life.
