Washington, April 16: A new study has found that acting extroverted not only leads to more positive feelings across several cultures, but people also report more upbeat behavior when they feel free to be themselves.

According to Timothy Church, professor of counseling psychology, even the people across non-Western cultures reported more positive emotions in daily situations where they also felt or acted more extroverted.

The study, which was funded by the National Science Foundation, is the first to extend its findings to a variety of cultures and has been published in the Journal of Research in Personality. (ANI)
