New Delhi, March 20: Tanushri Chattrji Bassu has promised that her upcoming directorial venture 'Purani Jeans' will take the audience through the most memorable roller-coaster ride of emotions.
Speaking about the film, the renowned ad filmmaker said, "When I wrote this film and realized the core idea in this film is friendship and the whole idea that it is like 'Purani Jeans' as both friendship and old jeans is similar as our friendship gets older the same way your jeans also gets older and that is the thing, the older they get, the better it becomes and you always feel very comfortable in your old jeans. It is like that circle of friends with whom you are always very comfortable".
Talking about his role, Tanuj Virwani said, "My character is an absolute introvert, a small-town boy from the early 90's, his name is Siddharth Ray and he loves hanging out with his friends, listening to old music from Hindi movies, writing poetry and he is always happy, he does not feel the need to go out and really show people that he is oozing confidence. He is very confident from inside but he is quiet and he is a very internalized person which I am not in real life."
The film is set in the mid-90s and stars three fresh new faces, Tanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leite, and tells a heart-warming story about friendship.
The music in the film is given by musician Ram Sampath, and is scheduled to release on May 1, 2014. (ANI)
