Washington, Feb 02: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has pushed back at a story authored by a former TSA screener, claiming that the problems described are either inaccurate or outdated.
In an article, the former screener revealed TSA workers routinely made fun of peoples' bodies as the images from whole body imaging machines flashed across their monitors in a secure room near the screening area, the Politico reported.
The author also referred to whole-body imaging machines that used backscatter technology.
However, TSA responded saying that many of the procedures and policies referenced in the article are no longer in place or are characterized inaccurately. (ANI)
