London, Feb. 28(ANI): Shia LaBeouf has won an 800,000-dollar-lawsuit against his maternal uncle Barry Saide, who has been ordered by the judge to repay the actor the entire lump sum, plus interest and legal fees.
Saide has to pay 9 per cent interest in accordance with the terms of the deal, as ruled by the Manhattan judge, the Mirror reported.
According to the New York Times, he used the money to support his employment business during the hard-hitting recession.
The 'Transformers' star supported his uncle during the hard-hitting recession and expected him to return the loan in 15 installments of 53,333 dollars each, but his uncle failed to repay anything.
The judge had urged the uncle-nephew duo to settle out of court in the best interests of the family after LaBeouf filed a lawsuit late last year.
However, due to the lack of progress, the Manhattan judge ruled in favor of LaBeouf. (ANI)
