New York, Feb 12: Diaries of Philip Seymour Hoffman, who died at his Manhattan apartment from an apparent drug overdose, have revealed that he was being haunted by demons.

According to NBC, the 'Capote' star had also written in the diaries about controlling his addictions by attending Narcotics Anonymous meetings and scoring drugs, the New York Post reported.

While one source told the channel that the scribbled diaries are difficult to follow because there is a fair amount of rambling that doesn't make sense, another said that it appears that the actor wrote part of his diary in rehab as it contains some soul-searching. (ANI)
