Melbourne, Feb. 15: Michael Jackson's former doctor Conrad Murray has been denied the chance to pursue an appeal of his involuntary manslaughter conviction.
Murray was found guilty of causing Jackson's death in 2009 from a lethal dose of the anaesthetic propofol, and served almost two years behind bars, News.com.au reported.
Following his release from jail in Oct er, Murray tried attempting clearing his name by appealing his conviction.
However, officials at a District Court of Appeal in California rejected Murray's claim in January, and now they have made it clear that he would not be able to pursue the case any further by rejecting his request to take his appeal to the state's Supreme Court. (ANI)
