Melbourne, Feb 17: Late INXS singer Michael Hutchence's half sister has slammed Channel 7's two-part series 'INXS: Never Tear Us Apart' on the band, claiming that the telemovie left her feeling "angry and sad for her brother, because it's a complete fabrication of their family".
Tina Hutchence told Nova 100's Meshel Laurie that Michael is the only Aussie so far who has become a bona fide rock star on the international stage as far as she knows, and she thinks that they really owed it to the public to give a true account of the INXS rise and fall, News.com.au reported.
Tina asserted that the channel certainly owed it to Michael and his family and friends to do better than their soap opera.
In 1997, Hutchence was found dead in one of Sydney's Ritz-Carlton hotel rooms, with the official coroner ruling the death a suicide. (ANI)
