Washington, January 3: Morgan Freeman will be reciting speeches from Nelson Mandela's early political career at a tribute concert in New York.
The 76-year-old American actor will recite speeches the former South African leader's early political career as he fought against racial segregation and his inaugural address following his election victory in 1994, Contactmusic reported.
Freeman will also read out Mandela's letters to his wife, Winnie, which he wrote during his incarceration at Robben Island prison.
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton will also be on hand to honor the anti-apartheid revolutionary's legacy at the special event at the St. Paul's Cathedral on 13th February.
Mandela died on 5 December aged 95. (ANI)
