Mumbai, Jan 21: Actress Monica Bedi, who too a break from her TV show "Saraswatichandra", is back and thanks her fans for accepting her character.

"I am happy to be back and I am grateful to all my fans who have so gracefully accepted me and my character in 'Saraswatichandra'," Monica, who plays the main protagonist's stepmother in the show, said in a statement.

The actress' character Gumaan has negative shades and her re-entry will heighten the drama.

According to a source, Monica has been away because the focus had shifted to Kumud's (played by Jennifer Winget) family.

"Saraswatichandra" airs on Star Plus.

Mouni Roy returns to 'Mahadev'

TV actress Mouni Roy, who played Sati in "Devon Ke Dev Mahadev", will be seen again in the popular mythological show.

"The era of Sati will be retold again, but there is a lot more to what the audience has seen till now. I am glad I am back in the 'Mahadev' team and I am hoping the viewers will shower the same affection, which they did during 'Mahadev- Sati' era. It will be a love story like no other," Mouni said in a statement.

The show, which airs on Life OK, sees Mohit Raina as Mahadev and Pooja Bose as Parvati.

Mouni has also done shows like "Kyunki... Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" and "Junoon - Aisi Nafrat Toh Kaisa Ishq".

Celebs contribute to Raavi's charity work

Child actress Rimmi Srivastav, seen in the title role in TV show "Raavi", inspired Bollywood celebrities like Shilpa Shetty and Arshad Warsi to support her initiative and donate warm clothes for the homeless in North India.

Other celebrities who came to support Rimmi were Sonakshi Sinha, Mahi Gill, Jimmy Sheirgill, Terence Lewis and Manish Paul.

A few of them even praised her for the effort and wished more people donate warm clothes.

Rimmi's collection drive saw massive participation from consumers across 20 cities. All proceeds from the drive will be donated to an NGO to help the needy and homeless.

"Raavi" airs on Big Magic.
