Washington, Jan 29: Disney Channel featured its first same-sex couple recently during an episode of 'Good Luck Charlie.'
First announced in June 2013, the episode featured lesbian mothers Susan and Cheryl, who drop off their daughter Taylor for a play date to the surprise of Charlie's parents, played by Leigh-Allyn Baker and Eric Allan Kramer, Fox News reported.
The move was hailed by former Disney Channel star Miley Cyrus last summer.
However, conservative group One Million Moms is up in arms about the episode.
One of the group's current issues listed on its website reads, "Please send an email letter and urge Care.com to stop sponsoring the Disney Channel if it pushes the LGBT agenda on our children during the program 'Good Luck Charlie." (ANI)
