Washington, Jan 2: Cameron Diaz has revealed that she felt really bad about herself when she was struggling with acne as a teen and as an adult.
The 'Bad Teacher' star wrote in her new health guide, The Body Book, that she had terrible skin and she was embarrassed because of it, Radar Online reported.
The 41-year-old actress asserted that she tried everything to get rid of it with medication - oral, topical, even the harshest prescriptions, but nothing helped for very long.
Diaz insisted that her struggles persisted until she focused more on what she was putting into her body than how it looked on the outside, like when she started to skip fast food and cook for herself at home.
Diaz noted that soon after she took care of her unhealthy eating habits, even though her acne wasn't totally gone, but it was significantly better, adding that acne was her body's way of telling her to stop eating fast food. (ANI)
