New York, December 13: Nigella Lawson's former personal assistant has claimed that the celebrity chef's house was akin to a high-end coke den.
Elisabetta Grillo has contradicted the 53-year-old television personality's claim that she rarely used coke, and said that she, and her sister Francesca, had approval to live large as long as they kept quiet about her drug-addled lifestyle, the New York Daily News reported.
Grillo added that she saw "white stuff" on CDs, along with rolled up cash and credit cards during the time she worked for her, while she was married to her deceased husband John Diamond as well as her former husband, Charles Saatchi.
However, Lawson claimed that Saatchi spread rumors about her supposed drug habit to discredit her.
The Grillos are accused of defrauding the 70-year-old art dealer of over $1 million. (ANI)
