London, Dec. 4: In an attempt to prove that there is nothing "shocking or scary" about women's private parts, an Australian artist has started knitting with a ball of wool that she shoves up her vagina every day.
Casey Jenkins yanks the thread out of her vagina to knit in front of an audience in Darwin, Australia, the Mirror reported.
Jenkins is so dedicated towards her art that she doesn't even stop when she gets her period, because according to her, "the performance wouldn't be the performance if she cuts out her menstrual cycle from it".
Jenkins said that her knitting 'art', she calls 'Casting Off My Womb', uses traditional craft techniques for a political or social activism purpose.
Jenkins added that putting the ball up her vagina is uncomfortable, but does not hurt at all and is in fact arousing sometimes. (ANI)
