Wellington, Oct 3: Beatles drummer Ringo Starr's Facel Vega Facel II, the world's fastest four-seater, is all set to go under the hammer at Bonhams auction house on December 1 in London.
The 1964 car is estimated to go for between 550,000 NZ dollars and 700,000 NZ dollars, Stuff.co.nz reported.
The car, whose original cost was 5570 pounds, is powered by a 390bhp Chrysler V8 engine in Typhoon specification, with elegant bodywork by Jean Daninos.
The car's current owner has it insured for more than 1 million NZ dollars.
Starr owned the car for four years after buying it directly from the stand at the 1964 Earls Court Motor Show. (ANI)
