London, Oct 13: A previous study had discovered that one in six people suffer from fear of flying.
However, experts have revealed that the most dreaded yet common air travel nightmare can be beaten, the Daily Star reported.
First of all, it is important not to focus on things that can go wrong while taking a flight, and if something is bothering you then you should share your concerns with the cabin staff.
Fear of flying will also reduce if you think of turbulence as normal and pre-book your seat, which removes a lot of stress.
Avoiding coffee or caffeine products, which can cause a hyper state of mind, and taking long deep breaths during stressful times on the flight is also advisable. (ANI)
