New York, Oct er 4: A new weight filter is being provided by OkCupid.com which allows users to hide the body types they're not attracted to.
The 9-year-old dating site is now allowing its A-list members to filter their prospects by 'body type' for a 4.95 dollars to 10 dollars monthly fee, and offers 10 body-type choices, such as 'thin', 'skinny', 'overweight' and even 'used up', the New York Post reported.
Some critics said the body-type filter is a form of online discrimination, and become a point of potential insecurity.
However, co-founder of the site, which bills itself as "the best dating site on Earth", Sam Yagan said that the filter is just an option and the users who don't want to be type-cast, you can just leave the space blank. (ANI)
