London, Oct 3: Manchester United boss David Moyes has insisted that Wayne Rooney has 'closed the page' on the 'chapter' of Sir Alex Ferguson, and claimed that he has no concerns the fall-out from Ferguson's no-holds-barred autobiography will affect Rooney.
According to Metro.co.uk, Ferguson has accused Rooney of demanding a move the day after winning the Premier League last season in his autobiography.
However, Moyes, who succeeded Ferguson as Manchester United boss in the summer, said that the England international is now 'completely focused' and in good form, adding that even though he had not seen an advance copy of Ferguson's book, he was not worried about Rooney being unsettled by its contents.
Stating that he also had no issues with his predecessor going into print at this time, Moyes also said that he believes that everyone at Old Trafford would love to hear what Ferguson had said in his book, especially his supporters. (ANI)
