London, Mar 13: British author Hilary Mantel is in the running to become the first person ever to be awarded all three UK major book prizes after being nominated for the Woman's Prize for Fiction.
The 60-year-old's historical novel, 'Bring Up The Bodies,' is competing against 19 other titles that includes six debuts and two previous winners.
Mantel, who won the Booker Prize last year, was also awarded the Costa Book of the Year for the novel in January this year, the BBC reported.
The shortlist for the 30,000-pound prize will be announced on April 16 with the winner being announced at a ceremony at the Royal Festival Hall in London on June 5.
Mantel, whose novel is part of a trilogy about Henry VIII's adviser Thomas Cromwell, also holds the record for being the first woman and the first living British author to win the Man Booker Prize twice. (ANI)
