Los Angeles, March 5: Writer-director of forthcoming movie "21 & Over" Jon Lucas says the movie has things he and co-director Scott Moore wanted to do when they turned 21.

The movie follows the life of a responsible college student Jeff Chang, played by Justin Chong, and his adventures and escapades on his 21st birthday with best friends Casey (Skylar Astin) and Miller (Miles Teller).

"Scott and I write from wish fulfilment. I don't think my 21st birthday was as crazy as I'd like to remember. I definitely made mistakes on my 21st birthday, but no where near what our heroes experience," Lucas said in a statement.

The movie, slated to release in India March 8, also features Sarah Wright.
