London, Feb 20: Well wishes and greetings flooded in from across the world to acknowledge Yoko Ono's 80th birthday.
But the peace activist and artist celebrated her special day in Berlin with her only son Sean, the Daily Mail reported.
Enjoying a "breakfast of champions" Yoko and her friends continued the merriment to Paris Bar later that evening.
Sean, 37, shared a picture of his mother and their team on the morning of her birthday.
On Sunday night, she and her son played a gig with the Plastic Ono Band at the same time that a retrospective of her art had launched in Frankfurt.
Also joining in the Twitter love for Yoko were American alternative rock band Sonic Youth.
They tweeted a birthday message with a video of Ono's song 'Namyohorengekyo' from her fifth solo album 'A Story' in 1974 and from the 'Onobox' in 1992.
Filmmaker Michael Moore tweeted: "Happy 80th birthday @yokoono !! You are loved by millions. Peace to you."
Martha Wainwright performed with Yoko on Sunday night, tweeting her happiness at performing with the iconic figure the following day.
"Happy birthday yoko. Plastic ono band were amazing last night. She is a universal mother to us!(sic)" the singer wrote.
Even Abbey Road Studio said a simple "Happy Birthday" on the social media site. (ANI)
