London, Feb 15: A hotel in Jukkasjarvi has been built with the help of 2,000 tons of river ice and 3,000 tons of "snice" - a combination of ice and snow used to stop the structure from collapsing.
The breathtaking Icehotel is an ongoing art-project that covers 59,200 sq. ft.
Artists from around the world flock to the Icehotel every winter to add their unique touch and perhaps even make a room or a sculpture to add to the everchanging surroundings, the Daily Mail reported.
Guests are advised to pack multiple pairs of thermals, as they will sleep on ice mattresses, which will be covered with reindeer skins.
They can get a drink at the Ice Bar or even tie the knot at the ice chapel. (ANI)
