Los Angeles, Feb 26: A 24-year-old man left his small daughter in his pickup truck for hours while he partied in a sleazy strip club.

Police said that they received a call just after midnight about a child left in a truck outside the 7557 Club on 7557 Woodley Ave.

LAPD Sgt. Jason Zabel, of the West Valley station and his team later found a man, Santos Omar Barillas, in the driver's seat of the truck. Barillas appeared to be intoxicated.

They then discovered a toddler in the back seat. The child was cold and shivering, the DailyBulletin.com reported.

Zabel said that they arrested the man on suspicion of wilful harm to a child, while the girl was placed in protective custody with child protective services and then later released to her mom.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Inmate Information Center, Barillas posted a 15,000-dollar bail on Sunday and is due in Van Nuys Municipal Court later in March. (ANI)
