London, Feb 5: Whenever the police chief in Belo Horizonte says "round up the usual suspects," officers start looking for John Lennons.
It seems that thousands of mothers named their sons after Beatle star in the years soon after he was murdered in 1980, the Daily Express reported.
Three bandits with the Beatles star's name have been arrested in little over a month and a fourth namesake was found dead after a suspected revenge killing.
Last week John Lennon Ribeiro Siqueira, 19, was caught as he prepared to rob a lottery shop, John Lennon Fonseca Ferreira, 22, described by police as one of the most wanted criminals in the state, was arrested during an attempted robbery at a house in the city on January 8.
And on December 19, police arrested John Lennon Camargos Gomes, 22, who they accuse of committing five murders.
Meanwhile on January 9, the body of a revenge killing victim John Lennon Sebastiao da Silva, 18, was found on the back seat of a car. (ANI)
