London, Feb 25: Rihanna, who is currently celebrating her 25th birthday in Hawaii with her boyfriend Chris Brown, has defended taking the rapper back in her life insisting that he is a fantastic person at heart.

The 25-year-old singer defended Brown, who was convicted of assaulting her after a pre-Grammy's party in 2009 saying that it is different now between the couple.

She told the Mirror that they don't have those types of arguments any more and now value each other.

When it was suggested that Brown doesn't exactly seem like he's a changed man after he recently lost his temper in public, she said that she knows that it comes off like that, which doesn't help.

She asserted that for a long time Brown was really angry, but there are so many reasons why she reconsidered having him in my life.

She said that he is not the monster everyone thinks he is rather he is a good person, who has a fantastic heart and is giving and loving and is fun to be around.

She added that these are the qualities that she loves about him and he always makes her laugh. (ANI)
