Mumbai, Jan 14: Tena Desae can be said to be a newcomer in the Hindi film industry even though the film “Table No 21” is not her debut movie. She kickstarted her career as a model and was also the kingfisher calendar girl before taking the plunge in cinemas. At the beginning of this new year, we saw Tena in the new film starring Paresh Rawal and Rajeev Khandelwal in “Table No 21” which instantly became a superhit! Talking of the film, she says she instantly developed a liking for the film and so accepted the offer.

She had to shoot a steamy scene with Rajeev too for the flick. They had to do the scene at the middle of a street with 2000 onlookers, but as Rajeev was very calm and peaceful about it, Tena too made up her mind.

But after the shot was over, Tena could not stop worrying whether the scene would look passionate or not onscreen. However in the bikini scenes, she was completely free and not at all uneasy as she is a professional model. She wants to play such characters which are sensible and she would be accepting any kind of films in any genres as she is a newbie in Bollywood and want to try out everything.
