Mumbai, Jan 3: Gorgeous babe Shruti Hassan was last seen in “Gabbar Singh”, a Telegu movie this year. She played the role of Bhagyalakshmi in the film, her character was that of a village girl in this movie. And interestingly whenever the damsel goes to Andhra Pradesh, she is called by the people of Andhra as ‘Bhagyalakshmi’ and not Shruti. The film was inspired by the Bollywood flick “Dabangg” by Salman Khan.

It also had Pawan Kalyan in the lead along with Shruti. But then she will soon be seen in a different avatar in the next Telegu flick “Yevadu” which is all set to release in 2013. She will be seen in a ultra-glam look in the upcoming movie. This film will be also dubbed in Tamil language.

It has Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun beside Shruti Hassan. Shruti will also be seen in another Telegu film named “Balupu”. She has also a Hindi film to be released in 2013 and that is “D Day”. Shruti is not only an actress but also singer and music director. She debuted in 2009 with the Bollywood film “Luck” but the film failed to impress the audience and critics. “Gabbar Singh” is her first hit flick.
