Mumbai, Jan 29: Sakshi Tanwar is one such television actress whose popularity has never faded out. Audience were charmed to see her as ‘Parvati’ in “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki”. And soon after she is seen as Priya opposite Ram Kapoor in the romantic tale titled “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain”. Sakshi says Parvati has been an icon and idol for audience. She was an ideal bahu and to play such a character onscreen is not an easy task, said Sakshi.

But then Priya is relatable and so people like her so much. And while doing these serials, she says she has grown up as a human being not only professionally but personally too. And Sakshi says it is only because of her love towards acting which has helped her to come so far. Not only her onscreen personalities, but in reality too she is a simple person who likes simple dressing up. So, whatever outfits she purchase and wear, she feels confident and positive about it. Sakshi started her career in television in the 1990s while she worked as a television host. And then she starred in “Dastoor” which was her first television serial.

The latest serial BALH which has become a superhit soap, started in 2011 May and continues till date.
