Mumbai, Jan 1: It is so very difficult to survive in the film industry without any godfather and a filmi background. Bollywood has been dominated by the Kapoors and Khans since a long time. But actor Rajeev Khandelwal is glad to have a firm position in the industry despite lacking any such backing. Rajeev says that it is all myth that industry closes its doors to outsiders!

Insecure people make such rules, says he. And these myths develop into people’s perception soon. He personally believe one does not need any backing, if he or she is self-confident, that will do. If one starts believing in oneself, nothing else is needed, Rajeev was quoted saying to the media recently.

He says he never wished for having any backings or support because there is a fun and excitement in struggling to get a position in the industry which is unparallel. He does not like things offered to him in a platter as that would not be so entertaining to look back at and smile later. He says others should envy one, as he or she has made a territory of his or her own. Life is all about ups and downs says the handsome and talented actor.
