Chennai, Jan 1: Last year, cousin of Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, debuted in Bollywood with the film “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”. Parineeti says that she did not get her first filmi break for Piggy Chops. Parineeti declared this on a television show. She said that contrary to the popular belief that she got an entry in Bollywood due to PC, the fact is just the opposite.
She says she used to know Maneesh Sharma, one who directed the film “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl” for a long time, and that is the reason she was chosen for the film’s role. On a show, she met a fashion designer who was from Kolkata, his name is Tuhin. She told him that she was basically a tomboyish girl, but Tuhin felt she is classy and so she should be much more feminine.
He also asked Parineeti to be reserved and quiet though she is actually a very frank person in real. And after getting selected for the show, Tuhin presented Parineeti a gown made by himself within one night. Parineeti joined the YRF after studying in London on finance. She was working in India as a publicist. And then in 2011 she signed a three films contract with the Yash Raj banner.
