Mumbai, Jan 7: While co-existing in the same industry, healthy competition between two superstars is very important told actor Kamal Haasan recently. Kamal and Rajinikanth are parts of the industry for several years, and they are healthy competitors, but never carry any bitterness to home. And that’s the reason both have been good friends for a long time. He is very happy to get support from DTH supporters regarding the release of his movie “Vishwaroopam”.
The bilingual action thriller which is to be released simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil versions, will be released on DTH (Direct to home) platform. The release date is 10th of January this year. And the very next day, the movie will hit the theatres. Kamal has not only directed and produced the film but also penned down the story by himself. He plays the lead role in the movie and also sang a few songs of the movie.
Besides him, actors Pooja Kumar as well as Andrea Jeremiah will be starring in the movie. Rahul Bose and Shekhar Kapur too have significant roles in the movie. The 58 years old legendary actor has been awarded the Padmashri and Kalaimamani awards. He was last seen in the Tamil flick “Dasavathaaram” in 2008 where he was seen in 10 different roles. The film was dubbed in Telegu and Hindi languages too.
