Hyderabad, Jan 7: As her upcoming film “Race 2” is going to hit the theatres very soon, Jacqueline Fernandez cleared everything about her parents and talked about her country Sri Lanka in an interview to the media. Jacky’s mom is Malaysian but daddy Srilankan. She was born and brought up in Bahrain and completed her higher studies in Australia. She says she is much like her father, very caring and protective about her family. She supports her family financially, and takes it for granted that whatever is her’s is her family’s too.
Since childhood Jacky wanted to be an actress, and after studies she went back to Srilanka to do some tv shows. Later she won the Srilankan pageant. Then she met with the Times Group’s talent managing team who asked her to be in India for acting and modelling. She came to India and auditioned for “Aladin” film. She was selected, and the rest we know. Director Sujoy Ghosh and actor Riteish Deshmukh became her friends since then.
After the film “Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai”, Jacky was not getting any good offers and thought of returning to Srilanka when one day she got a call from the Bhatts regarding “Murder 2” and then on, offers started pouring in.
