London, Jan 8: David Bowie has reportedly released his first new single album in a decade titled 'Where Are We Now?' , which coincides with his 66th birthday.
The 66-year-old English musician broke years of silence and speculation, as he announced the release of his album on Twitter, the Telegraph reported.
The veteran music star, who shot to fame in the late 60s with Space Oddity, released his album on iTunes in 119 countries, at a price of 0.99 pounds.
According to a spokesman, it was his first new album in 10 years and 30th studio recording.
Bowie, who has not performed live since 2006 and has rarely been seen in public since then, also has a follow-up album called 'The Next Day', which is set to be released by the glam-rock singer in March and can be preordered for 10.99 pounds. (ANI)
