Melbourne, Jan ary 4: In an anonymous survey for, five-star hotels have listed some of their craziest requests by their guests for 2012.
A royal family from a Middle Eastern nation asked a hotel to buy some alpacas for their stay on the Gold Coast, while another hotel went to extraordinary lengths to ensure two lovebirds had a romantic dinner to remember - flying them by helicopter to a remote hinterland location where a personal chef and Spanish guitarist were waiting.
Other notable requests in the Gold Coast survey included the high-flyer who asked for separate rooms on separate floors for his wife and girlfriend.
Another hotel had to organise a last-minute charter flight to Malaysia for the entire Argentinean polo team, while one stunned hotel staffer was instructed to sell a guest's luxury sports car after he had to unexpectedly leave the country., News.com.au reported.
Across Queensland, guests also asked for hotel staff to find them a kangaroo to ride and for bottles of different coloured sea water.
