New Delhi, Jan 27: Bollywood actor Bobby Deol is celebrating his 46th birthday today.
Deol, whose original name is Vijay Singh Deol, hails from a family of stars and was born in the Punjabi Jat family to actor Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur.
The 'Gupt: The Hidden Truth' actor started off his Bollywood journey as a child actor in the film 'Dharam Veer' in 1977, where he portrayed the younger version of Dharmendra, the lead actor of the film.
He later debuted as an adult with Twinkle Khanna in 1995 through the film 'Barsaat', for which he won the Filmfare Best Debut Award.
Deol, did a series of films later in which he had his signature look with his long hairlocks but got real recognition through his 2002 film 'Humraaz'.
The 'Badal' star, who is also a sports lover, has recently joined the 'Mumbai Heroes Cricket' team owned by actor Sohail Khan. (ANI)
