Hyderabad, Dec 10: Presently the upcoming project of Sohail Khan titled "Sher Khan" is on hold. But it has been learnt that Sohail will start making this new film along with his brother Salman quite soon from 20th of January next year. There is a buzz in the industry of the film being a remake of "Brindavanam" which is a South Indian flick. But the news is yet to be verified.
A source informs that Salman and Sohail will plan the release of "Sher Khan" to be in early August of 2013, just before Ramzan Eid. As we all know, Salman releases new films every year in Eid. Like "Wanted", "Dabangg", "Bodyguard", "Ek Tha Tiger" all of which released during Eid. Incidentally, Ekta Kapoor too earlier had announced that her upcoming movie "Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Again" will release in 2013 Eid.
Now, if both the films are released on the same day, there will be a cut-throat competetion in the box office amongst Salman and Akshay Kumar. In OUATIM 2, Akki will be sharing screen space with Sonakshi Sinha. Imran Khan is also a part of the film. On another note, SRK starrer "Chennai Express" too might be released just before 15 days of Eid in 2013.
