Mumbai, Dec 10: Manisha Koirala is in the Indian film industry for more than 2 decades. She started off in Bollywood with director Subhash Ghai’s "Saudagar" in 1991. But her stint in acting started with a Nepali film. She hails from a renowned family in Nepal. Of late, the Nepali-Indian actress has been diagnosed with cancer. She was first admitted in the Jaslok Hospital of Mumbai. Now, she has been discharged from there, and will be flying to USA for medication.
Last Wednesday she had been admitted in Jaslok Hospital after she fell senseless at her home in Nepal. Manisha’s sister-in-law says that they will be taking Manisha to USA. But they have not decided on the hospital yet. But she was tight-lipped about the illness of Manisha. Even the hospital officials refused to speak out about her ailment. She was diagnosed with cancer after Manisha had gone for a number of tests.
As per a source, Manisha was released from Jaslok Hospital on Friday morning at around 9 a.m. She was all right then. The source added that Manisha has forbade anyone to divulge any news of her ailment. Dr Suresh Advani, director of medical Oncology was looking after Manisha in the hospital.
