London, Nov 27: Women are willing to spend eye-watering sums to have flowing locks like the Duchess of Cambridge, Nicole Scherzinger and Kimberley Walsh, a poll has revealed.
In a survey, 25 percent of women were happy to spend more than 2,000 pounds to look like a celebrity, the Daily Express reported.
Fabriah.com surveyed 600 customers for the poll.
'This Morning' presenter Holly Willoughby, 31, and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, 29, are at the top of a list of people having most-enviable hairdos.
Women are also happy to spend for the same styles as designer Victoria Beckham and Girls Aloud's Walsh as well as 'X Factor' judge Scherzinger.
The survey found, that as many as 82 percent of women visited a salon once every eight weeks - spending about 100 pounds each time, the paper said.
They also spent more than 500 pound-a-year on styling products - including shampoo, conditioner, oils, serums, heat protectors, hair sprays, waxes and mousses - and are ready to shell out more than 100 pounds for strengtheners.
Francesca Davies, of Fabriah.com said, "We're surrounded by photos of celebrities with amazing-looking hair, so it's no surprise that women try to copy their look. It's certainly not a cheap thing to do." (ANI)
