Mumbai, Nov 30: Neha Dhupia says she has been associated with South India since birth as she was born in Kerala. She lived in Kerala for 10 years. She also feels the City of Nawabs is a special place for her as she bagged the crown of Miss India there. Neha says today's Bollywood films are out-of-the-box and Indian cinema is going through a great phase. Even though Neha started off her career with bold roles in films like "Julie" and "Sheesha", later on she went on to do performance-oriented roles. It is the script of films that matters to her now.
When Neha was asked that most of the recent films of her including "rush" did not fare well at the box office, she says may be audience are still not prepared to watch such films. She also says there is no point sitting around with something and blaming others for failure. She just wants to move on.
Neha says that item numbers can boost an actress's career, so if one is associated with a trendy and entertaining item number then that's great. She also said that nothing is confirmed about her item number in the movie "Dil Ne Dil ko Pukara". The hot bombshell has also been offered another item number in "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 2" by Tigmanshu Dhulia though she has not signed on the contract yet.
