London, Oct 13: Robert De Niro and Sylvester Stallone, both of whom became household names after starring in boxing movies, are set to return to the ring in the forthcoming comedy 'Grudge Match.'
The 'Raging Bull' star, who won an Oscar for his role as boxer Jack LaMotta in the movie, will star as a retired fighter, who agrees to one last match in the ring, the BBC reported.
Stallone, best known for his 'Rocky' films - a character that he revived in 2006, will be playing his rival.
The movie is directed by Get Smart's director Peter Segal.
According to the Deadline, stand up comedian Kevin Hart, who was recently seen in 'Think Like A Man,' will play the promoter, who persuades the old timers back into the ring, while Entourage's Doug Ellin will be writing the screenplay for the movie.
No dates for filming have been announced yet. (ANI)
