London, Oct 17: Christina Hendricks has admitted that becoming a redhead was a career-changing move for her.

The 37-year-old actress, who was a blonde previously, confessed that it was during her modeling days that she was asked to change her hair colour for a shoot.

"The head of my agency was like, 'You look terrible'. "In the meantime I had to audition," The Sun newspaper quotes the 'Mad Men' star as telling Radio Times.

"I booked two or three jobs and was like, 'This is working, I am keeping this'," she said. (ANI)
