Mumbai, Oct 25: Bollywood legend Yash Chopra's sudden demise shocked the entire industry. Chopra breathed last at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital. He was 80 years old. Several Bollywood bigwigs, including megastars such as Dilip Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan turned up to pay their last respects to veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, known as the country's king of celluloid romance.

Hrithik Roshan who was in Switzerland when the sad incident happened was shattered when he heard about this unfortunate incident. Hrithik has been very close to the Chopra siblings, Aditya and Uday. Not many know that the title 'Darr' had been borrowed by the Chopras from Hrithik. Back then, Hrithik had made an amateur film by the same name. Hrithik decided to be by his best friend Uday's side in this movement of grief. Hrithik Roshan has cancelled ths shoot of his film and his mother's birthday plans, and rushed back to mumbai.

Hrithik's close aide says, "It's quite uncanny that Oct 21 was supposed to be Yash Chopra's last day at a film shoot (he was to be part of a special song for Jab Tak Hai Jaan). But since he passed away sadly, the Swiss government organised a special event in a train named after Yashji," says an insider, adding, "Hrithik and his entire family along with the crew lit candles in front of the train."

Duggu is very close to Uday Chopra, the filmmaker's younger son. Insider adds, "So he has cancelled shooting for four-five days to be with Uday. He took the first available flight out of Zurich to be in Mumbai by evening."
